Assist. Prof Lozan Todorov graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy of Medical University – Sofia in 2009. Since 1019 he has served as an assistant professor at the Department of Chemistry. In 2022 he is to complete his PhD thesis “Investigation of the Antioxidant Activity of Lanthanum (III) and Galluim (III) Coordination Complexes” within the “Bioorganic Chemistry, Chemistry of Natural and Physiologically Active Substances” doctoral program of Post-Graduate Education in Medical University – Sofia.

               At the moment he serves as an assistant professor at the Analytical Chemistry Section of the Department of Chemistry. His scientific research and contributions are within a number of fields of pharmaceutical/medical science and practice:

               – antioxidants and oxidative stress;

               – analytical methods for investigating the antioxidant properties of chemical compounds;

               – coordination chemistry.

               He is an author of 22 scientific papers with 38 citations in indexed journals J. Citation Reports (Clarivate), Web of science (Clavirate), Scopus (Elsevier) and Google Scholar. He is an expert in analytical methods for investigating the antioxidant properties of chemical compounds. He has served as Principal Investigator of two scientific projects, financed by the Council of Medical Science (CMS), Medical University – Sofia.
