In Section VII “Conditions, Order and Procedure for Conducting the Examinations”
Departments in the Faculty of Pharmacy have the right to include in the exam an entrance test for admission to the next part of the exam. A mandatory condition is to have sample tests officially published and provided to students by the department.
Students of the Faculty of Pharmacy have the right to take exams no more than 6 times in each of the special disciplines for the entire period of study. If students fail the exam in the relevant special discipline more than 6 times, they are expelled from the Faculty of Pharmacy of MU-Sofia.
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy proposes to the Rector of MU-Sofia to allow up to two additional sessions for conducting semester and/or state exams, after the completion of the relevant regular and resit session. Allowed additional sessions are held, immediately, after the respective resit session, within a maximum of 30 days, after its completion.
In Section VIII. Settlement of student status
Conditional enrollment is allowed for each subsequent academic year with no more of three untaken exams in different disciplines, only when in each subsequent conditional enrollment all three exams are not the same discipline /applies only to FF/
2.1 second year of study cannot enroll in the 3rd year with conditional exams from the 1st year.
2.2 Third year of study cannot enroll in 4th year with conditional exams from 2nd year.
2.3 fourth year of study cannot enroll in the 5th year with conditional exams from the 3rd year.
Students who have completed the semester and passed all the exams according to the curriculum begin a pre-graduate internship, no later than the end of the June exam session, of the relevant academic year. The remaining students who have not passed their exams after this date will begin their pre-graduate internship after passing them, within the legally defined period, in the following calendar year.
The students of the 5th course, who have completed semesterly, can appear for untaken exams from the January (Winter) session during the June (Summer) session of the respective academic year.
Transferred foreign students, trained according to an individual curriculum, who have paid the legally determined tuition fee for the relevant academic year in which they were transferred, do not pay an additional tuition fee for disciplines that are planned for study according to a curriculum during the current academic year of their transfer year, but are postponed for study in the next academic year, according to the student’s approved individual study plan. / applies only to FF/.
The rules come into force from the beginning of the new academic year 2022/23, i.e. from 26.09.2022
