Assist. Prof. Lyubomira Radeva graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Medical University of Sofia in 2021. Since 2022, she has been an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy. She participates in the education of Bulgarian and foreign students in the discipline of Pharmaceutical Technology. In 2025, she defended her PhD thesis with a dissertation topic titled “Development of Polymeric Nanosized Drug Delivery Systems as Carriers of Doxorubicin”.
Her scientific interests are related to the preparation, characterization, and loading with active substances of polymeric nanosized drug delivery systems, drug stability and solubility, and evaluation of the effects of these systems in in vitro cell models. She is an author of 16 publications in high-impact factor journals and has an h-index of 7.
She has been participating in 8 research projects related to improving the biopharmaceutical properties and therapeutic effects of various molecules (such as antitumor agents, natural antioxidants etc.) through loading in nanoparticles and complex formation.
She is a reviewer of scientific publications in the journal “Pharmacia” and journals published by Elsevier, MDPI, and Springer Nature.
She is a member of the Bulgarian Scientific Society of Pharmacy and the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union.
