Assoc. Prof. Christina Voycheva graduated Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University in 2001. Since 2010 he has been an assistant and, since 2014, chief assistant. She defended his doctoral dissertation on “Design and optimization of drug delivery systems with quercetin.” She has a degree in “Drug Technology and Biopharmacy” and completed a second master’s degree in Health Management from the Faculty of Public Health at the Medical University – Sofia. He currently holds the position of Chief Assistant at the Department of Technology of Biopharmaceuticals. The research work and the contributions of Chief Assistant Christina Voycheva are in the directions of dermal and transdermal drug delivery systems and nanosized drug delivery systems. She is an author of many publications, textbooks, monographs with numerous citations in indexed journals in J. Citation Reports by Clarivate, Scopus by Elsevier, Web of science by Clavirate, Google scholar and others. Participant in research projects funded by the Ministry of Education and Science, the Council of Medical Science at the Medical University of Sofia, and other universities. She has completed courses in Homeopathy at the Center for Training and Development of Homeopathy, European Legislation and Control of Cosmetic Products. Cosmetic products – rational therapy and realization, Cosmetic skincare programs for different skin types at Euro Bul training, licensed centre for professional training, a course in Controlled release coating, and Advanced formulation for gastro-intestinal targeting at Evonic Industries. Christina Voycheva participates in the implementation of cosmetic products in production. She is a member of the Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union.
