Chief Assistant Stanislav Bozhanov graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”in 2000.
Since 2009 he has been an assistant, and since 2011 Ch. Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry.
He defended his doctoral dissertation in Analytical Chemistry on “Research on the distribution of heavy metals between soil, plants, and products of the Bulgarian oil-bearing rose and lavender”.
He has a specialty in ”Analysis of drug products” acquired through post-graduate education at MU-Sofia.
He currently holds the position of Chief Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry.
Participates in the training in “Analytical Chemistry” and “Analysis of drugs and metabolites in biological media”, a discipline included in post-graduate training in Clinical Pharmacy.
The research work and the contributions of Chief Assistant Stanislav Bozhanov are in the following areas of pharmaceutical science and practice: analysis, control, and standardization of medicinal substances and dosage forms, as well as analysis of drugs and metabolites in biological media.
He is the author of sixteen publications and one handbook, with seventy citations in indexed journals in J. Citation Reports by Clarivate, Scopus by Elsevier, Web of Science by Clavirate, Google scholar.
Participant in three research projects funded by the Council of Medical Science, MU-Sofia.
