Senior Assistant Professor Petya Milusheva graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Medical University of Sofia in 2015. She has experience in wholesale distribution, quality management systems, internal and external audits of GxP related processes. Since Jan 2022 is part of the Department of Organization and Economics of Pharmacy appointed as Senior Assistant Professor. She successfully defended a doctoral dissertation in the doctoral program Pharmacoeconomics and pharmaceutical regulation on “Therapeutic approaches and pharmacoeconomic analysis of the treatment of asthma in Bulgaria.”

Taught practicals on Social Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Legislation, Pharmacoeconomics, Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical Care of Bulgarian and foreign students.

The research work and the contributions of Petya Milusheva are in the following areas of pharmaceutical and/or medical science and practice: Bronchial asthma, Immunological drugs, Methods for assessing drug-related problems etc.

She is the author of 15 publications, with 26 citations in indexed journals in J. Citation Reports by Clarivate, Scopus by Elsevier, Web of science by Clavirate, the Google scholar.
